Kenilworth is an amazing place to live and the community spirit shown during the Covid Pandemic has been incredible. We are working to ensure that those effect by the pandemic are supported and also working to ensure that the more vulnerable members of our community are no longer alone without support.

We have the following volunteering positions avaliable.

Phone Team - The Heart of Our Charity

The phone team who have been onboard from the start of our setup provide the central heart of the support we offer.

We are currently looking for volunteers to join the team. You can volunteer for just a few hours a week or for a few days, whatever your schedule allows.

  1. Shifts 9.30am – 1pm or 1pm to 5pm Monday to Friday.
  2. You will need a computer/laptop and a quiet space at home.
  3. You will need to be able to record data accurately.
  4. You enjoy talking with older people and can offer empathy and build confidence and trust.

This is a fabulous voluntary role helping our residents, making a difference to their day and ensuring this group can continue to support our community. ❤️

Community Liaison - Working directly with those most needing us.

Through our work, we have identified a group of Kenilworth residents whose life is an ongoing challenge, largely due to loneliness and isolation, and underlying health conditions. We have been providing support to this group through the pandemic and now want to focus on improving their lives into the future , they are healthier and more socially connected than they were before lockdown.

We need someone to work with our Community Liaison Coordinator to share a role improving the lives of our most vulnerable residents. You will enjoy working with and speaking to elderly people, you will need to have patience, empathy, a kind and caring nature, plus an ability to be solutions driven. This is a longer term, hands on, voluntary role; both emotionally challenging and rewarding.

Pharmie Coordinator

The Pharmie team is a lovely bunch delivering medicines to those in need across Kenilworth. The team is looking for another Coordinator to join and support coordinating the daily deliveries.

You will need attention to detail, ability to multi task, work with data and enjoy working with us and motivating a team.

Operations Administrator

We are looking for someone to help support our Operations Management Team and enable them to improve organisation. They are a hard working dedicated team, who have worked through a period of Crisis Management and now looking to stabilise our Operation as we grow and develop. You will need a passion for your community and drive to help others, be organised and tech savy. Being in this role would be a great opportunity to learn new skills.

Street Champion - Eyes and Ears on the Street

Our large team of Street Champions have been the eyes and ears of our efforts providing an amazing service across Kenilworth during lockdown. They support local residents with various needs including regular welfare calls, information delivery and as lockdown eases we hope for socially distanced visits. If you would like to be part of this amazing team please contact us.
